Martyn has new music on the way.
Out on May 10th through his 3024 label, Through Lines is a collection of tracks produced between 2005 and 2015. The compilation comes with a 40-page booklet featuring a collection of essays Martyn has written about the era and his production techniques. A Through Lines launch party will take place at South London record shop Planet Wax on May 3rd.
"This is not just a compilation of remastered music, it's a document of an era of UK-inspired dance music where ideas, genres, tempos and scenes seemed to rapidly merge and splinter off," read the liner notes.
Through Lines follows last April's AJ^6, a joint EP with Om Unit. The DC-based artist also remixed the Nosaj Thing and HYUKOH track "We Are (우리는)" in November.
